Vegetarian Actor to Work for Obama Admin.

You have probably heard by now that Kal Penn (Kumar from Harold and Kumar go to White Castle and House) has been made newest member of the Obama Administration.  What you probably don’t know is that Kal is a VEGETARIAN!

Soon Kal will start reporting for duty at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue as Obama’s official “Public Liaison.”  Kal describes the job as “outreach with the American public and with different organizations.  They’re basically the front door of the White House. They take out all of the red tape that falls between the general public and the White House.” This could be great news for animal rights groups as Kal is a vegetarian for “cultural, religious, and ethical reasons.”  We may see a flurry of activity from animal rights organizations trying to get to Obama through Kal.

I’m just happy that we have a vocal veggie in the White House!
