Antibiotics+Meat Eaters=Fail.

Animals that are produced for food are given high doses of antibiotics to cut down on the number of pus filled infections that develop as a result of the poor conditions they live in. When a person eats the meat they are also ingesting all the antibiotics that the animal was fed throughout its life.
A new report released in the United Kingdom shows that the high level of antibiotics in meat eater’s bodies have created antibiotic resistant microorganisms. The more meat people eat, the stronger these microorganisms may become. The threat could be reduced if the meat industry were to reduce the number of antibiotics that are given to animals. However, because animals are kept in such filthy conditions where open wounds are exposed to feces, reducing antibiotics would mean that many more animals would die of infection in the factory farms.
The moral of the story, don’t eat meat. Eating meat increases your risk of developing an antiobiotic resistant bacteria. Do yourself a favor and go veg.
