Fake Blood Banned From Protests.

A British court has ruled that activists protesting an animal testing lab are banned from wearing clothing stained in fake blood.
Activists from Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty and the National Anti-Vivisection Alliance are protesting Harlan Laboratories facilities all across the UK. Part of their demonstration tactics involve wearing clothes stained in fake blood to highlight the cruelty and violence of animal testing. Harlan Labs opposed the activists use of fake blood saying it is equivalent to calling their employees “animal abusers.” Well…
After a long court battle and a successful appeal defense, Harlan Labs got their way. Activists are now banned from wearing blood-stained clothing to demonstrations outside of Harlan Labs facilities. In addition, activists are only allowed to protest once per week and must not exceed 25 people in attendance.
Allowing a company to dictate the terms in which independent citizens can protest their business practices is outrageous and undemocratic. No one should be able to control the manner in which other people express their opposition especially if that opposition is being expressed peacefully.
