Rick Ross Invests in Chicken Chain.

Heavyweight rapper and “Teflon Don”, Rick Ross, has announced that he will soon be entering the chicken wing business.

Rick Ross has become a major investor in the chicken wing chain Wingstop and he plans to open up a few locations in Memphis, Tennessee later this year. Speaking about this new venture, Ross told AllHipHop.com “after tasting Wingstop’s signature lemon pepper-flavored wings in Miami, I knew this was a franchise I wanted to add to my investments.” Ugh.

Rick Ross isn’t the only celebrity to invest in Wingstop, former Dallas Cowboys superstar Troy Aikman sunk a ton of money into the brand and now sits on their Board of Directors.

This bums me out because I am actually a pretty big Rick Ross fan. On the plus side, Rick Ross is a great spokesman for a chicken wing diet. Live by example Rick.
