Raccoon Becomes Recession Staple.
With the economic downturn raising food prices (especially for meat) some folks have taken to hiding behind a dumpster at a grocery store to ambush raccoons. The raccoons are trapped or clubbed and sold to people at about $3- 7 each. People are raving about the taste of the meat, or maybe they just have rabies from eating it.
