Enslaved Monkeys Fight Back.

I think PETA spoke to soon when they published their Top 10 Karmic Moments for Animal Abusers in 2008 so I’m going to submit one of my personal favorites.

A Chinese man has trained monkeys to perform on the streets with him. The animals were always beaten when they did no perform correctly and during a recent performance, the monkeys decided they had had enough. One of the bicycle-riding monkeys twisted the man’s ear while another sank its teeth into his head. A third picked up the man’s stick and battered him over the head with it until it broke and It was all captured on film for our enjoyment.

The man has been quoted as saying ‘they may have built up some feelings of hatred towards me.’

Those monkeys are my heroes.
