Cat Fur Used to Make Trim.

I came across this amazing and horrifying picture from furkills.org of an investigation into the fur industry that shows cats being prepared to be made into fir trim (probably for some hideous Ugg boots).

It is well documented that U.S. law allows clothing designers and retailers to omit, on clothing tags) any mention of animal fur on fur-trimmed garments. They are even allowed to dye real fur to make it look fake, and sell it without mentioning on the label that it is real fur.

Also if it says “Asiatic raccoon” on a garment label it means that the fur is actually from a raccoon dog who may have been skinned alive.

Boycott fur, fur trimmed garments, and their retailers like Nordstrom’s. The life you save may be your cat’s.
