Factory Farms Free to Pollute.

A last minute jab by soon-to-be-former President Bush and the EPA has let factory farms off the hook for over polluting. Pollution from factory farms already threaten to poison the earth and drive people from their homes with contaminated air, water, and manure lagoons. The group Earthjustice has already filed a suit behalf of the people.

With the loosening of regulations, factory farmers can pump out more toxic gases like methane without having to report to anyone. Methane gas is extremely bad for humans to breathe and is one of the leading causes of global warming.

It is unknown if Obama will have the courage to overturn this horrible violation of human, environmental, and animal rights. Even though we may feel good about his election, we have to keep the pressure on.
