Ben Franklin Cruelty Update: PETA Joins the Cause

As you may remember, a few days ago we began a campaign to end the sale of hermit crabs at the Ben Franklin store in Cheney Washington. After word reached PETA they decided to lend a hand. You can now find this issue up on PETA’s website.

Thanks PETA for putting this issue on the national stage. I also want to thank everyone who has lent a helping hand in this important effort.

Some people have commented that fighting the sale of hermit crabs is trivial compared to the issues with war, poverty, etc. I believe a person who posted on this site said it best when they replied to critics that if you’re not willing to stand up and speak out on this “small issue” how can you ever expect to make a difference for the “big” issues.
