Mega-McDonalds Coming to London.

Your local hometown McDonalds will look miniture next to the Mega-McDonalds being built in London for the 2012 Olympics.

By far the largest of their 31,000 locations, the Mega-McDonalds will be a two-story 9,800 square foot monster with a 1,500 person seating capacity. The restaurant will be built outside of the London 2012 Olympic stadium and plans to serve 50,000 Big Mac, 180,000 portions of fries, and 30,000 milkshakes in just 29 days. To sling all that slop, 470 new employees will be added to the payroll.

Considering last week’s firebombing of a McDonalds in Europe by activists from the Animal Liberation Front, I have a strong feeling that this new location might not sit well with some people.
