Vegetarians Sue for Being Fed Meat.

An appeals court in New Jersey ruled that a group of vegetarian Hindus can sue an Indian restaurant for mistakenly serving them meat.
While dining at Mogul Express in Township N.J., a group of strict vegetarians ordered what they thought were meatless samosas. After a mix-up in the kitchen, the group of 16 were served samosas stuffed with meat. Their order was corrected free of charge but the damage had been done so the group decided to take it further.
All strict Hindus, the group told press they believed that the meat they accidentally ate had affected their “karma and dharma” as well as their “purity of the soul.” In order to help correct this impurity the group is suing the restaurant for the cost of a trip to India for a re-purification ceremony. Being as there are 16 plaintiffs in this case that all need to be flown to India, this could end up costing the restaurant a lot of money.
Like the story of the razor blade inside candy that forever ruined Halloween, this case too will eventually become a myth and a legend. Details will be lost and replaced with new ones which make the case seem even more outrageous. People will talk of the vegetarians who sued after the waiter screwed up their order and ended up taking the restaurant for all they were worth.
