UK Beagle Farm Blocked.

Activists and concerned citizens have put a stop to the construction of what would have been one of Europe’s largest beagle farms.

A US-based company, Marshall Farms, planned to build a 2,000 beagle farm in Yorkshire used to breed the little dogs for animal experimentation all across the UK. The facility would have been one of Europe’s largest.

The thought of experimenting on dogs seems to have moved activists around the world to speak out against the beagle farm but the final decision to ban the facility came down to a traffic issue. The town of East Yorkshire did not want to widen the road to make way for the increased traffic that the facility would bring. Ok, that works too.

Whether the resistance to widen a road or the nearly 4,000 letters of outrage against the animal testing farm was the reason, we may never know. Scared politicians may have used the road issue as a cop out. The fact remains, the beagle farm will not be built. Period.

First they stop the mega dairy and now the mega animal experiment farm. These Brits are relentless.
