Tobey Maguire the New Face of Prada.

Prada has announced that vegan and animal rights supporter, Tobey Maguire, will be their new spokesmodel for Prada’s fall menswear line.

Many people, myself included, are baffled by Tobey’s new job. Prada is one of the worst offenders when it comes to pushing products made of fur and snakeskin and Tobey is a hardcore vegan. In 2008, Ecorazzi reported that Tobey makes people remove clothing made from leather and other animal products before they can even enter his house because they “make him sick” to see or smell.

Perhaps Tobey needs the cash or he doesn’t really care about Prada’s abysmal animal rights record. Even then, it’s odd that Prada would make this goofy vegan the new face of their high-end fashion line.
