BBQ King Loses Contest Over Tofu.

Dave Anderson, BBQ legend and founder of the Famous Dave’s restaurant chain which bears his name, recently lost the ‘BBQ Master’ title and $50,000 all because of tofu.

Dave was competing in the Food Network’s latest ‘why the hell is this even a show?’ series when his dreams of being crowned ‘BBQ Master’ were dashed by a few little bean curds. The final challenge of the ‘Best in Smoke’ episode called for competitors to show their true skill by cooking up some delicious smoked BBQ tofu. The self-proclaimed ‘Rib King’ proved to be the least skilled chef after his vinegar soaked tofu crumbled into a million pieces. The judges remarked that his dish tasted like “Styrofoam with glaze.”

A clearly bitter Anderson told press that he doesn’t know anything about tofu, he doesn’t eat tofu and he definitely would not put tofu in his smoker.

This guy’s tastebuds must be fried. It’s ironic that he became famous by taking something that naturally tastes like ass and making it appetizing and yet he takes something like tofu, which has almost no flavor at all, and makes it taste like ass.
