Suge Knight will do PETA ad.

Suge Knight, CEO of Death Row records and possibly the most dangerous man in music, will star in a new anti-dog chaining ad for animal rights group PETA.

This one made me do a double-take.

Knight has been a key figure in both the music and crime worlds since the early 90s. He was riding next to Tupac when he was shot and killed in an SUV and he is believed by many to be the one who orchestrated the hit on Notorious BIG as retaliation. Knight helped start Death Row records and was reported to force N.W.A. manager Jerry Heller to allow Dr. Dre to leave the group by threatening Heller with a lead pipe and a baseball bat.

Suge Knight is scary, Suge Knight is mean, but Suge Knight apparently LOVES dogs. And how could you not?

The ad is reported to read “Dogs deserve our love and attention, not a life of ‘solitary confinement’ at the end of chain.” Agreed.
