Our Baseball Team Got Some Press.

A few months ago we told you about how we sponsored a little league team in my hometown. Looks like the local paper there picked up the story and has some great interviews with the team and their coach. Here are some of the highlights:

Team coach Chris Avery on hearing that we sponsored the team:

“It was definitely a little odd. When I first told my parents about it they said ‘We’re having a steak cookout for the first practice right?’”

On how I felt if the team ate at Burger Ranch:

“It’s not about being offended if someone eats meat or dairy. It’s about being informed and about having all the facts. everyone is entitled to know the truth about what they eat and right now they don’t.”

This is great that the team is getting some attention. I think you can easily tell just by reading the article why it’s so important to raise awareness about animal rights and veganism in the Tri-Cities.
