Prime Minister Banned From Smiths Fan Club.

UK’s hunting fanatic Prime Minister David Cameron is forbidden from being a fan of his favorite band because he stands against everything they represent.

The Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr and singer Morriessy are vocal vegans and animal rights advocates and have publicly stated that they forbid Cameron from liking them. They’ve even gone so far as to ask him to stop saying he’s a fan.

The group claims that the issue goes back to Cameron’s opposition to animal rights and staunch support of hunting, “It’s a moral issue” Morrissey told press “Killing a stag is like killing a child. What’s the difference.”

The pair claim that Cameron and the conservatives are against everything The Smiths stand for but Morrissey concedes that a fan is a fan and you can’t help who likes your music. The controversial vegan spoke about his famous fan saying, “When you make music, you’re very happy when anyone listens, whoever they may be, but someone with such an extreme lifestyle as David Cameron, killing stags as I say as a sport, hobby, you’re mystified…” 

These guys get more and more vegan everyday. If you hunt or eat meat, you are forbidden to listen to The Smiths. I imagine it is all in jest but this is one of the million reasons why I love this band.
