Canned Meat Sued for Looking Like Spam.

The makers of canned “meat” Spam have sued a Netherlands based company for producing a “meat” product that looks eerily similar called Prem.

Prem and Spam are actually made at the SAME facility by the SAME manufacturing company. Essentially they are the same product under different names and sold by different companies.

Spam’s not upset at the product similarities, they just want Prem to change their labeling to avoid consumer confusion.  I hate to say, if you are buying canned meat, chances are you’re confused enough as it is.
