Chick-fil-A Exists to “Glorify God.”

God wants to know if you’d like fries with that.

In a recent article published in the New York Times, it was revealed that fast food chain Chick-fil-A’s mission statement says their purpose is to “glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted into our care.”  And here I thought it was to serve gross greasy animal bits smothered in cheese.

Apparently Chick-fil-A thinks that God doesn’t really care how animals are treated. Unless he sees mechanically separating their bodies or dunking them in boiling water while still alive as “faithful stewardship.”

Lately the company’s been the one in the scalding tank ever since it came out that they fund anti-gay organizations.  One headline about the revelation read “If You’re Eating Chick-fil-A, You’re Eating Anti-Gay.”  I’d like to add that if you’re eating Chick-fil-A, you’re eating an animal that was tortured and killed.

Not sure God would be cool with any of this.
