Record Breaking Mega-Dairy Derailed.

Activists have derailed plans to build a 3,770-cow dairy factory farm in the United Kingdom. The factory farm would been the largest in the country’s history and would have put numerous family farms out of business.
Close to 80,000 objections were filed online and with local partners. The Nocton Dairies Corp. issued a public statement about their loss which said the campaign against them “reflects concern with agriculture in general and the design of the modern dairy farm in particular.” Yes it does.
Seems like the Brits aren’t quite used to this level of cruelty and awfulness on a factory size scale. There are factory farms like this all over the United States supplying almost the entirety of the milk in the country. There’s a dairy farm in Oregon that claims to have over 41,000 cows.
The project has been postponed indefinitely and with continued pressure it will be buried permanently.
