1 Million Chicks Killed for YouTube Video.

When Russian factory farm Krasnaya Polyana Poultry feared bankruptcy, they turned to YouTube to help send a messege to the government.  

Employees posted a video plea showing them dumping baby chicks into rusted barrels in the snow as well as drowning many underwater.  About 400,000 chicks were killed this way and 600,000 others died of starvation. 

The factory farm is reported to be nearly $2 million in debt and they claim that, without government help, the remaining 3 million animals will die and the owner will be forced to fire 1,700 employees.  

Sounds more like a ransom demand then a plea for State aid.

Not sure how showing the world how easily you could ruthlessly murder one million baby chicks is going to gain you any sympathy.
