Rooster Forced to Fight Slits Throat.

Police in India are looking for a rooster accused of killing his handler.  After being forced into the ring to fight other roosters to the death, the bird got so mad he turned aroud a slit the jugular vein of the cruel handler.  The man bled out and died shortly after.

A friend of the deceased said:

“[the handler] tried to push him back into the ring several times.  This upset him and he attacked.”

Currently the rooster is still missing.  Police are looking everywhere for the feathered fugitive and worry that he’s been stolen by another cock fighter.

Cockfighting is illegal in the US but is disturbingly popular in other countries around the world.  Roosters are abused to be aggressive and are strapped with razor-sharp metal blades designed to inflict lethal wounds.  Not surprising that some roosters would finally be pissed off enough turn the blades on their handlers.
