Pay Your Taxes or We’ll Kill Your Dog.

A Swiss village was tight on funds so their tax man was doing a little research when he discovered that since 1904 the government had the right to charge a $50 dog tax for which the punishment for not paying is death!  The village fully intends to aggressively pursue folks with back dog taxes.

The government of the village has reserved the right to execute any dog who’s owner does not fork over the $50 tax.  A representative said that the village is not trying to advocate a mass dog extermination they only want to put pressure on people who owe back taxes.

Geez, telling someone you’re going to kill their dog if they don’t pay their taxes sounds more like a mafia tactic then one of a “legitimate” government agency.  The jerks better not kill any innocent dogs in retaliation for not paying some stupid tax.
