Ed Hardy Goes Fur Free!

Tattoo and fashion titan Ed Hardy has pledged to go fur free!  Ed Hardy joins the fashion world’s most powerful designers and fur free advocates Calvin Klein, Polo Ralph Lauren, BCBGMAXAZRIAGROUP, Tommy Hilfiger, Levi’s and Kenneth Cole.  Millions of animals will avoid being skinned alive thanks to the compassion and the intelligence of Ed Hardy.

Ed Hardy’s designs are featured in a number of different lines sold by numerous companies.  Hardy was horrified when he learned that his work was featured on clothing that contained fur. He was quoted recently as saying:

“As someone who cares about animals, I am deeply offended by and opposed to the inherent cruelty of animal fur.”

Hardy understands that fur is not fashionable.  Real fur serves no purpose on modern clothing.  Synthetic fabrics are able to keep people warmer than fur.  If it’s the look your going for, faux fur is cheaper and less work to maintain, real fur coats must be properly maintained or they can easily develop worms!
